“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” - Maya Angelou
I believe in order to teach children well you much first learn each of their individual personalities and abilities. Once you get to know them and they you, then the learning can begin. Every child should have the freedom to explore and discover their environments without strict limitations.
When I teach, I go into each lesson with open eyes, a project may “fail” but it’s important to learn and teach that mistakes may happen and can be utilized as learning tools. Learning is never ending, the children may learn from me but I’m also learning from them. I love to look for new ways and methods to teach. Children should be introduced to as many mediums as possible in order to develop a passion and appreciation for learning and the things around them. I strongly believe that the arts such as music, art, creative literature for example, are very important to have in a curriculum so that we can help to foster learning and support a well-rounded learner.
